Chef Baptiste Villefranque Intro

Chef Baptiste started his career in Pastry cooking in 2008, as part of the famous French

«Compagnons du Devoir» for 6 years, and then assisted Alain Ducasse in Yssingeaux ENSP for a year.

All the while, he took part in several competitions with major achievements:

  • 2012: Finalist in the Young French Chocolate Cup, Paris
  • 2013: 2nd place in Club Des Chocolatiers, Artistic chocolate showpiece, France
  • 2014: French Pastry Cup School Champion, Europain Paris

As a pastry instructor in different French cities such as Nimes, Bordeaux and Strasbourg, Baptiste decided to take up the challenge for the opening of a Pastry Bakery Shop in Moscow, Russia.

After a year of developing and perfecting his pastry and bakery skills in Russia, he became the Pastry Chef of the Ritz Carlton in Moscow.

Being part of the judging panel at the Russian Pastry World Cup Selection, he has executed and developed a unique style of dessert creations both trendy and inspiring.

He moved out to Hong Kong as the Executive Pastry Chef of W Hotel, a luxury Marriott Group hotel, where he keeps making innovative, authentic and exquisite creations.
